The first floor exhibit area showcases more than one hundred rare and original historic pieces relating to Lincoln and the Civil War. The displays feature stimulating visuals and story-telling which complement the pieces and provide historical context. Maps, photos, and timelines provide an overview of Lincoln’s life and of 19th-century America. This exhibit area is self-guided and takes approximately 30 minutes to view. This exhibit is suitable for all ages.
